Photomarathon
14:54 A competition organized by Geylang Serai Community Club Photographic Society. Hope to see you guys there!! Dear NYP Photography Club, I am Teng Yeow, chairman of GSCCPS (Geylang Serai Community Club Photographic Society), and I hope to invite all of you into joining us in a photomarathon competition that we have proudly organised and greatly sponsored by Cathay Photos this coming Sunday, 5th July 2009! It is an event where you will be given a specific theme on that day and you are supposed to go around and give your expression on the theme through photography! So everyone is given a fair and square playing field as theme will only be given on that day. You will be allocated 3 hours to go around any places you like to take photos :) Geylang Serai CC Youth Executive Committee (YEC) in partnership with Young SISEU (Youth Wing of Singapore Industrial & Services Employees Union) will be organising "Capture the Moment" photo marathon contest on 5 July 09 in conjunction with the YEC's Biennial General Meeting (BGM). Wait no more and bring your digital camera (any type!) for a fun filled day of "shooting" and submit your best photos to stand a chance to win attractive prizes! Join Us!
How to join? It's not too late to join us! You just have to send a email to us, saying u wanna join us. Remember to add in ur own particulars... - Name - Date of birth - Admin number - School (eg. SBM) - Handphone number - Email (the one u want us to send information abt outings etc to) We'll get back to you as soon as possible! Do you need a camera? Unfortunately, yes. You need you own camera. It don't have to be a DSLR. A compact camera will do. Even your handphone camera can be used!
Photographers Needed? If you need photographers for your events, you can drop us the Request Event form which is avaliable at Block E Level 4, NYP Photography Club Room. Please inform us at least TWO WEEKS prior to the event so that we have sufficient time to make arrangements. The form will be at the doorstep itself, fill it up and drop into the box. Thank you!
