Hi people, one of our members sent me a link, its a photography competition. The submission deadline is at the end of the year, 31 Dec 2010. The site is in chinese, so I probably try my best to translate. The theme of the competition is CHINESE CULTURE.

PRIZES:

Open Category:
1st: $2k + 2 free tics for a trip to china
2nd: $1.2k + 2 free tics for a trip to china
3rd: $800 + 2 free tics for a trip to china
5 merit: $300 each

Student Category:
1st: $800
2nd: $500
3rd: $300
5 merit: $150 each

There will be a trophy + $500 for those who participate as a school (will be judged based on the overall points scored and the quality of the work piece)

Hi everyoneeee!!

The NYP Photography club will be organizing a Photography Competition sometime in April. The competition will be open to the whole of NYP staffs and students, as well as some invited external participants.

Planning has already started among the committees and we’re appealing for enthusiastic organizers to join the planning committee. CCA point will be awarded to you. ^^v

This is a rare opportunity for you to lead a large scale event so please come on 20th Jan Wednesday at 3.00pm at the Studio e411.

If you are interested but unable to make it, do inform Raudhah at 97549569. For the rest who are able to make it, please come down k muahahaha! Your presence will be much appreciated.

It's not too late to join us! You just have to send a email to us, saying u wanna join us.


Remember to add in ur own particulars...

- Admin number
- School (eg. SBM)
- Handphone number
- Email (the one u want us to send information abt outings etc to)

Do you need a camera? Unfortunately, yes. You need you own camera. It don't have to be a DSLR. A compact camera will do. Even your handphone camera can be used!


Photographers Needed?

If you need photographers for your events, you can drop us the Request Event form which is avaliable at Block E Level 4, NYP Photography Club Room.
Please inform us at least TWO WEEKS prior to the event so that we have sufficient time to make arrangements.

The form will be at the doorstep itself, fill it up and drop into the box.
